You will need a UBlockout remote to control our motorized shades. This remote control is only compatible with our motorized UBlockout shades.
We recommend starting with one remote control per room of your home.
Our multi-channel remotes allow you to assign groups of shades to individual channels for ultimate ease and control. This means you won't need multiple remotes for different shades.
Instead, you can use one remote with customized channels for centralized management. You have access to up to 15 channels with a UBlockout remote.
You’ll be required to pair each shade within the room to the remote. This is relatively easy and you’ll be provided with instructions on how to do this when you purchase motorized shades or an extra remote control.
Yes, you can link additional remote controls at a later date if required.
When you purchase your motorized shades, you’ll be prompted to purchase at least one remote control. Keep this in mind if you're purchasing more than one motorized UBlockout shade as we recommend one per home.
No, the motorized shades will not operate without the remote control. You can upgrade to smart control with our SmartHub, however, allowing you to operate your shades with a timer, your voice and more.
