How do I measure accurately?

Measuring your window is the most important step when ordering your UBlockout shade. We have created a video guide and simple instructions to follow during the ordering process in our measuring support.

What tools do you need?

The UBlockout shade is designed to be installed using common household tools: an electric drill, a Phillips-head screwdriver and a spirit level.

How many people are needed to install?

We recommend you enlist a handy friend for an extra pair of hands. For wider windows, two people is essential.

Can I change something after I've ordered?

Once ordered, there is still time to adjust your order or measurements before we begin production. Please email our support team at support@ublockout.com to make changes to your order. If you have any questions, we're always here to help!

Absolutely - If you're concerned about the accuracy of your measurements you can select our Measure Consultation during the order process. We'll help you get a great fit and answer any additional questions you might have over a video call, giving you peace of mind for your measurements.

Where can you ship to?

We ship everywhere in the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. International shipping is not yet available - but it's in the works. Free shipping is available on all orders under 90", except Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

When will my order arrive?

Our team is working hard to process orders as quickly as possible while maintaining high-quality standards. We are currently forecasting a 2-3 week lead time to ship your order once placed.
