Upgrading your manual shade with a motor is as easy as inserting the motor into the fabric roll and reinstalling it back in the frame.

You can charge your motor by sliding the UBlockout charging port slider across the roller cover and plugging in the 10-foot long micro USB cable.

Yes, if you upgraded your shade to motorized after your initial purchase, you can change back to manual operation.

Upgrade your motorized shades to be smart with our SmartHub. To set up our SmartHub, you'll need a:

• home assistant device (Google Home, Alexa, Siri, IFTTT and SmartThings)
• smartphone with the associated home assistant app installed
• 2.4GHz WiFi router (5GHz and 6GHz WiFi routers are currently unsupported)

Yes, you can automate shade operation using your smartphone if you have the SmartHub. You can set different open and close positions for anytime of day.  You can set different open and close positions for anytime of day. 

Yes, you can operate your motorized shades with your voice if you have also configured the SmartHub.

You will only need to charge your motorized shades around once per year, depending on usage.

No, our motor is battery-operated and rechargeable with a USB cable so you don't need an electrician to hardwire it in.

Channel 0 (zero) operates all channels paired to the remote. 

Simply press the up button to open all paired shades to their saved upper limits. To close all shades to their saved lower limit, press the down button.

Both upper and lower limits are set by our manufacturing team. They can be set to different positions to suit your needs.

A complete charge lasts up to 1 year with typical daily operation

To recharge the battery, simply slide open the UBlockout logo fully so the micro-USB cable can access the charging port. Leave connected for 4 hours to fully charge.

The motor takes just 4 hours to fully charge. A single charge lasts around one year under typical daily operation.
