Returning your product

We want you to experience the best possible blackout, and that means offering refunds and returns where applicable.

If you receive a defective or misdescribed product, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, including original delivery charges and reasonable return shipping costs.

If you don’t love your UBlockout shades, you may return them within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Refunds will be issued for the full purchase amount, excluding any additional shipping costs, duties, or taxes incurred.

To initiate a return, please notify UBlockout in writing via email at (support@ublockout.com) or through online chat. UBlockout will provide return shipping labels and instructions to return the product.

Please note:

  • Refunds will be applied upon arrival and inspection of the returned goods.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original credit or debit card used for payment.

  • Free returns are not available for oversize shades outside of our standard sizing range.

  • Free returns are not available for orders delivered outside the continental USA.

  • Free returns do not apply to commercial orders.

  • Free returns do not apply to orders of 5 or more shades (We recommend ordering a test shade, risk-free with Measure Guarantee, prior to a large order).

  • UBlockout reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 50% if the product is returned damaged or in an unsellable condition.

If you believe your product is faulty or was damaged in transit, you may be eligible for a replacement or repair under the terms of our warranty. For assistance, contact our team at support@ublockout.com.

 

Warranty

The product is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of delivery.

During the warranty period, UBlockout will repair or replace any defective product at no cost to the customer, including the cost of labor and replacement parts.

The warranty does not cover damages caused by wear and tear, misuse or abuse, failure to follow installation and operating instructions, unauthorized alterations or repairs.

Replacement of components and fabric is covered under warranty for the first 2 years.

The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Measure guarantee

Our Measure Guarantee is an optional protection service. It is priced at $40 per shade, and the terms of the Measure Guarantee apply only to shades that have added this option at time of checkout.

Measure Guarantee ensures that the product will be replaced if there are any issues with the operation of the shade due to measurement issue.

If there is a measurement issue, UBlockout will collect the shades, make the necessary adjustments, and send the new shades back to the customer.

Additional fees may apply to change the product type, fitting type, or color of the replacement shade.

New measurements must be provided in writing.
